TERMS
All terms are per week, and apply to the chalet
as described and equipped. The chalet may be occupied from 2pm on
the day of arrival. The keys will be sent to before your stay along
with a prepaid envelope for their return after your stay.
Alternative arrangements will be made should it not be possible for
keys to be sent to you before your arrival. The chalet
must normally be vacated by 10am on the day of departure and we
trust you to leave it clean and tidy.
DAMAGE
You will be held responsible to make good or pay
for any damage to the accommodation, fittings, utensils, crockery or
cutlery.
BOOKING DEPOSIT
A £50 per week deposit is required at the time of
booking. Short notice bookings, i.e. less than 3 weeks, require the
hire charge to be paid in full.
BOOKING CANCELLATION
Please ensure you have
adequate holiday insurance. Under the conditions of hire you are
responsible for the full cost of hiring the chalet even if you are
not able to take possession. However, should you need to cancel your
booking, please inform us as soon as possible in writing or via
e-mail. Provided we are able to re-let the chalet then we will
refund your booking minus a £10 fee to cover our expenses. To
qualify you must notify us immediately the circumstances arise, in
writing or by e-mail. Our acknowledgement in writing or by e-mail to
you will be your evidence of our having received your notification.
BALANCE OF HIRE MONEY
The balance as shown on your hire invoice is
payable at least 4 weeks before the start of your holiday, or at the
time of booking if less than 4 weeks
MINORS
Bookings from persons under 18 cannot be
accepted.
ALL MALE or ALL FEMALE PARTIES
This is a family
chalet which we ourselves use, therefore we regret that
bookings from all male or all female parties cannot be
accepted.
PETS
Pets are not permitted in
the chalet, unless by prior arrangement.
SMOKING
Please do not smoke
anywhere inside the chalet
CONFIRMATION OF BOOKING
A booking will be held for 7 days
allowing for receipt of deposit. Upon receipt of deposit
we will confirm your booking in writing.
ACCOMMODATION AVAILABILITY
The booking is made on the understanding that the
chalet will be made available to you on the date stated. Should this
not be possible through circumstances beyond our control i.e., fire,
flood, theft or serious damage, we cannot guarantee to provide an
alternative chalet. In such a case a full refund of monies paid will
be made to you and you will have no further claim against us the
owners.
LIABILITY
We will not be liable for the
death or injury to any person on holiday in or visiting the
Winterton Valley Estate, or for any loss or damage to the property
of any such person howsoever any such death, injury, loss or damage
may be caused. Vehicles and their accessories and contents are
left at your own risk. We will not be responsible for loss or damage
therein or thereto from any cause whatsoever
COMPLAINTS
If during your stay, you have a complaint about
the accommodation, you can phone us at any reasonable time. We will endeavour to deal with the
matter as soon as possible. Any serious complaint should be drawn to
our attention at the time, and followed up in writing within 7 days
of your departure. Any complaint received after departure, but not
drawn to our attention during the booked period, may not be entered
into.
